A task as simple as boiling tea deserves a vessel that is equally as fundamental and classic. Marimekko’s White Oiva Teapot is an efficient and elegant way to brew tea tableside. Part of the Oiva stoneware collection, this streamlined shape was created by modern Finnish designer Sami Ruotsalainen. Made from vitreous porcelain, the pot also has a matching porcelain tea strainer that tucks neatly away inside.
Care: Hand wash only; not recommended for microwave, oven or stovetop use.

I'm truly pleased with this teapot. Everything is great about it - right size, smart design, beautiful look. Purchasing from Finnstyle was a good experience too. Prompt delivery, proper packaging. If you love the cosy Scandi things as much as I do, than Finnstyle is a great source.

More than just a teapot
It's worth the price. So beautiful just like an art.
I especially love its texture and shape. It's all about simplicity here!

I like this combination of porcelain and wood. It matches Iittala Teema series very much. This teapot comes with a matching porcelain strainer. It works okay and convenient. I bought a stainless strainer (87mm one) to catch tiny loose tea leaves.
