Maija Isola's vintage Ruukku pattern still feels fresh in shades of red, orange, pink and green on a blue and white backdrop. Here, the blossoms are printed on a 100% cotton placemat to bring a pop of print to the table. Acrylic-coated cotton makes minor messes easily wiped clean, but also allows it to be machine washable for more major spills. It feels coarser than untreated cotton, but still feels like fabric and not like vinyl of earlier placemats. Plus, the eco-friendly treatment helps to avoid wrinkling when folded!
Care: Wipe with damp cloth for minor messes. Machine washable as needed.
