Set the table atop a field of flowers. The idea for the Apilainen (Small Clover) pattern came to designer Lotta Maija while at her summer cottage. An easterly wind brought big waves to shore, causing the yard's flowery grass to sway back and forth in a memorable way. Here, it's featured on a beautiful and convenient placemat. Acrylic-coated cotton makes minor messes easily wiped clean, but also allows it to be machine washable for more major spills. It feels coarser than untreated cotton, but still feels like fabric and not like vinyl of earlier placemats. Plus, the eco-friendly treatment helps to avoid wrinkling when folded!
Care: Machine washable. Follow instructions on tag.
