The Hemulen is a passionate plant collector, and atop this bowl by Arabia, he examines and picks rare collectibles as he travels to the Hattifatteners' island. Wearing his signature lilac-colored dress and illuminated by a bright yellow backdrop, the scene is based on author Tove Jansson's novel Finn Family Moomintroll from 1948.
