Finnish for “meter maid”, the Marimekko Lappuliisa fabric is colorful and quirky. As rows of multi-hued circles fill the background, it becomes apparent that this print doesn’t take itself too seriously. Playing by the rules to a certain extent, orderly circles showcase their originality by being uniquely patterned and colored. Marimekko textile designer Maija Louekari uses the perfect amount of playful design and vibrant color to add an upbeat vibe to this cheeky fabric.

The cloth saved time and effort. No pads necessary on my dining room table. Easy clean up. Cheerful background and an enhancement for the Thanksgiving table. Please note that I still own a similar cloth which I received 25 years ago and it is still is usable and in good shape.
