Delivery Transit Time Map

1. All items are guaranteed to arrive in perfect condition.

2. Most orders ship within one business day. Place your order by 9:00 AM Central Time and we will try to ship same day.

3. FedEx deliveries are made Monday through Friday; transit time does not include the day of shipment. (i.e. An order shipped on Monday, to a destination within our 3-day transit zone, will be delivered on Thursday.)

4. If an item is out of stock we will notify you within one business day. Should this occur, you will be given the option of modifying or cancelling your order. Credit cards are not billed until the order ships.

5. Our prices are in U.S. dollars.

6. Customers outside of the U.S. are responsible for any customs, duties and brokerage charges which may be imposed. These charges will be collected when your order is delivered. Unfortunately, we cannot provide estimates of these charges.

7. Customers using a freight forwarder: For international orders shipped to a customer’s freight forwarder, any claims for damage must be placed when the order is delivered to the freight forwarder in the U.S. We cannot pay damage claims after the order is re-shipped by your freight forwarder. (This exclusion does not apply when we ship your order directly to you in another country.)

8. We reserve the right to refuse international orders (outside of U.S.) if there are extraordinary shipping costs or requirements.

9. Glassware ships from our Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. warehouse. Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to Minnesota addresses.

10. Typical delivery times are: 
Continental U.S. - 1 to 6 business days
Hawaii, Alaska - 1 to 2 weeks
Canada - 4 to 8 weeks
Europe, Asia, International delivery - 3 to 9 weeks

Furniture and Lighting Shipping Information

We look forward to helping you select high-quality, modern Finnish furniture created by Artek. Please review the following terms before placing your furniture order.

This information applies to furniture orders only. Please see our Shipping Information page for questions about ordering other products.

Cost Delivery is free for most small items shipped via FedEx and for large items shipped via truck with tailgate. Large items shipped via truck requiring inside or white-glove delivery are upgraded delivery options: Please see below for details.

Payment 100% will be charged at time of order.

Delivery Area Online ordering is restricted to deliveries within the U.S. 48 contiguous states. We do not ship large items Hawaii or Alaska. Please contact us with any questions.

Residents of other countries should contact a retailer in their area.

Assembly Many furniture pieces require simple assembly. (Use care to prevent over-tightening screws if using a power screwdriver.)

Delivery Small items ship by FexEx or other small package carrier. Larger items ship by truck with either tailgate or white-glove delivery, as noted on the product page.

If tailgate (standard) delivery, the truck driver will drive to your home but you must accept delivery at the truck, bring the item into your house, unpack and assemble.

If inside delivery, shipper delivers package inside the home or garage where customer unpacks and assembles. Please contact us if you would like a quote to upgrade delivery from tailgate to inside delivery for large items.

If white-glove (inside) delivery, the carrier will bring the furniture into your home, assemble furniture and remove packing materials. Contact us if you would like a quote to upgrade delivery from tailgate to white-glove.

Damage We make every effort to ensure that your furniture arrives in perfect condition.

When your order arrives, please take the time to inspect it to ensure that the paperwork is accurate, the correct number and type of items have been delivered, and that the shipment is free from any damage or defect.

Make a report of any visible damage immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the freight carrier's Bill of Landing and contacting us by email or phone. Hidden damage or defects must be reported within 24 hours following delivery.

Please do not assemble or use damaged or defective items. When you make a report of damage or defect, we will take immediate action to remedy the situation. In most cases, the damaged or defective item will be picked-up from your home and a replacement item will be shipped.

Sales Tax Orders delivered to Minnesota addresses will be charged sales tax.

Returns Due to the nature of these fine pieces, furniture and lighting sales are final.

Lead Time Estimated lead times may vary. Production and Shipping delays may occur in addition to the estimated lead time. Please contact us if you have any questions before ordering.
