It's said we know more about space than we do the deep ocean, and this limited edition cushion cover by Klaus Haapaniemi captures the magic and mystery of both worlds. Printed on pure silk, it depicts a red whale swimming in a deep dark sea of midnight waters illuminated by a red planet. Each component is beautifully and intricately detailed with other-wordly wonders. The glossy face is contrasted by handsome, burgundy piping with a matching solid linen back. The cushion cover has a concealed zipper to insert or removed a cushion.

Magical, and delightful! The pillows are even better in person!

Magical and delightful! The pillows are even better in person! Klaus Haapaniemi is one of my favorite designers and it's nice to finally have something that sprang from his imagination. The reason I gave a 4-star review as opposed to a 5-star review is the cost. While I was happy to take advantage of Finn Style's sale they are/were in my opinion expensive. Don't get me wrong they are well made, but at the high prices charged I expected perfection. Having said all that, they are spectacular, and I've spent too much time staring at them.

This pillow is even more wonderful in real life - the colors are rich and the silk makes it feel luxurious. A little bit of Finland on my couch ðŸ˜
