A modern take on a vintage-inspired floral, Hattarakukka is beautiful for autumn and beyond. Rich shades of purple, orange and yellow saturate layered shapes in Aino-Maija Metsola’s new pattern. The 100% cotton Marimekko oven mitt features protective extra-thick padding at the fingertips and thumb, so you can pull hot casserole dishes from the oven with ease. I have had Marimekko oven mitts in the past, and they have withstood the beatings of my cooking and several washings. However, the color that I had was a white with a pattern, which doesn't bode well for the burn marks and such that come with oven mitt use. These are perfect, as the darker colors and pattern in this mitt will be perfect to hide the marks that normally appear on oven mitts. The orange you see is not as bright an orange as it appears in the picture. These mitts are comfortable and easy to use. Love them.
