The latest addition to the Taika line, these large bowls will cover all your serving needs. They are the perfect size for pasta or salads and are lightweight enough to pass around the table. Their combination of beauty and functionality make them distinctively iittala.
Fanciful characters and exceptional natural elements make up the basis of design for Taika. The energetic design features a stream of mythical creatures as well as fascinating and meticulous detail. A gamut of deep reds and blues creates a grand and majestic look.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a Finn or fan of Finnish design that doesn’t recognize the iittala logo, designed by Timo Sarpaneva in 1956 and inspired by his “i-line” range. The logo serves as a symbol of quality craftsmanship, timeless design, and thoughtful functionality. Many collectors ... More iittala

The most gorgeous bowl ever, purchased as a birthday present to myself. It will dress your table for special occasions while being sturdy enough to sustain repeated family use. The whimsical forest birds make me smile and the colors are spectacular. I am now trying to resist purchasing other pieces. My husband suspects that I am addicted to finnstyle. He's not wrong.

The Taika pattern is absolutely gorgeous, and this serving bowl has been a wonderful addition to our collection. It's a great size for pasta (which means it gets a lot of use in our house), as well as salads. It's also a pretty addition to a kitchen if you just want to fill it with oranges or apples and set out! I absolutely love the colors of this white/blue bowl.

I recently purchased the large Taika white/blue serving bowl to coordinate with my plates in the same pattern. This bowl is a perfect size for salads, pasta and serving main dishes. I plan to purchase another piece to add to my collection.
Quality material, versatile.

Long have I desired this bowl

I'm not sure how a computer-printed bowl made in Thailand can be worth $100, but I've wanted it a long time. Finally bought it on sale with Christmas money. Love it's substantialness and the blue Taika motif.

Last X-mas I bought two of these as gifts to family members and they were absulutely delighted. They were more expensive at a Finnish store in Seattle. When I saw them on sale at Finnstyle I immediately ordered one blue and one white for myself.
The pattern, the sturdiness and the creative pattern. What is there not to like about the Taika line.
FinnStyle delivers with exceptional service and speed.

The White and Blue Taika Table Setting
April 3, 2011
we fell in love with the Taika pattern the moment we first saw it...the owl reminded us of our favorite owl at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. We enjoyed seeing it used for the Finnish Christmas table setting at the Swedish Institute (Turnblad mansion). it is the perfect setting for a breakfast of Swedish pancakes.

All of the taika line is beautiful, but the large serving bowl is just so impressive. I gave the black and white one as a gift and the recipient was thrilled. Then i received the dark blue one as a gift and I was just as thrilled. It mixes well with my other cobalt pieces and is a wonderful entertaining size--not too big or too small.
