A good place setting piece with multiple uses

Rosenthal's Suomi design is my favorite china, and I use it both for everyday use and for company. The rimmed soup bowl, at just over 9 inches, is useful for much more than soup. I've used it for main course salads and pasta at lunch and for several desserts. It's perfect for floating island and Finnish berry soup. It's almost an all-purpose dish.
