If I leave this in the sauna will it melt? What is the average lifespan?

It will not melt, however it is recommended with any Sauna bucket to empty it and place it somewhere to dry outside of the warm sauna to increase the life of the item.
This is made of an ecologically designed material that should last longer than most traditional wooden buckets with proper care.
