Inspired by the Hvitträsk museum's stunning landscaping, the Metsikkö pattern is beautiful in its simplicity. The minimal depiction of various types of trees is an excellent complement to modern holiday decor but will resonate all year round. Designer Minna Niskakangas wanted to bring the beauty of Finnish forests to city dwellers in a way that is personal and function. Made from equal parts linen and cotton, the machine-washable towel is a way to save the trees in portrays when it's used for drying hands, dishes, or wiping countertops instead of disposable paper towels. It also a lovely way to keep fresh pastries warm or a unique way to wrap presents where the "wrapping paper is a resuable bonus gift.
