Ditch paper towels for a more eco-friendly alternative. Opto Design’s cellulose dishcloths absorb many times their weight in liquid, and their durability is proven by the fact that they can be cleaned in the washing machine or dish washer, sanitized in the microwave, and reused countless times. The rectangular cloths are rigid when dry but soften when wet to allow you to wipe any surface clean, from countertops to sinks to dirty dishes and pans. When it’s finally time to toss your cellulose cloth, it is compostable and biodegradable. One towel features an image of the Moomins in their kitchen, while the other depicts Snorkmaiden tending to her garden.

I thought there are regular clothes but they are not. More like wrapping material. I am going to let my cousin try first since they are gift.

Love the wonderful cellulose dishcloths!
I became a convert to cellulose dishcloths several years ago, and it's all I use now. They are thick, absorbent, and great for cleaning the kitchen, but they also air dry incredibly quickly (no sitting around with moisture inside to get mildewy and smelly). They also wash up beautifully on hot in the washing machine. I use and use them until they eventually start to fade and get holey, and it's good to know they are biodegradable at the end of their useful life. These particular dishcloths are adorable, and the print is just as bright in person as it appears on the website!

Moomin dish cloth set
I am delighted with the Moomin dish cloth set. I am always very happy with Finnstyle customer service. I had a small deliver problem and the person I spoke with was very helpful and full of good humor.
