Product Details

The Nordic Forest Storage Basket has a felt-like material that is made from 100% PET recycled plastic water bottles with a needling technique. The Forest design was made by Kata Nowak-Kiminki and illustrates the beauty of Northern wildlife. This material is lightweight yet durable at the same time. The UV protections keeps them from fading in the sun. This storage basket is excellent for any home and can be used for a wide variety of different items. This item is not waterproof, therefore it may require an underlay when being used. The earthy like material and design compliments any home interior.

Love the Leaf Storage Basket! It's the second one I've bought. They both serve as a stylish, portable way to hold files and other odd bits that I want to keep handy.

Substantial, well-made basket I bought for use in going up and down the stairs in my home, although I may use it to put the toys my grands play with when visiting me. A truly versatile and attractive part of my decor.

Versatile basket

I like the sturdy yet lightweight and pliable felt material, as well as the understated design. The felt is pretty substantial, and the finishing is good quality. Like another reviewer, I am using this for a large indoor plant. My plant is currently potted in a 3-gallon plastic nursery pot with a drainage saucer (c. 10" dia.)., and it fits with room to spare after propping the plant up on styrofoam blocks. The color scheme works with my decor. To compare with the smaller light grey version, the smaller basket is much smaller. It accommodates the same size nursery pot and saucer with enough space, but it sits only about an inch below the rim (I wish the basket were a bit taller to hide the pot better).

Great storage basket

Family members loved these bags as Christmas gifts in the forest design, so I ordered the leaf design as future gifts. They are sturdy, well made and beautifully designed. Plus recycled material.
Definitely worth having!

Perfect Storage Basket

This is the second Muurla storage basket I have bought. I find they are extremely well designed, very useful and not that expensive.

Very sturdy basket/bag

This bag has been fantastic to carry items during the painting of the inside of my house. The bag is very sturdy, and it is possible to add far more items out of harm's way than a regular bag. The structure ensures the contents stay in place.

This would also be a good bag/basket to use for picking up groceries or going to a farmers' market.

This is an example of up-cycling plastic to a very usable, sturdy, and environmentally great product.
