The irresistible artwork on this smooth plastic placemat is originally from 1977s The Dangerous Journey, Tove Janssons last Moomin picture book. You will enjoy using this placemat every day in the kitchen, or perhaps youd prefer to frame it as art. The Dangerous Journey placemat is made by Opto Design of Sweden.

I bought this wonderful Moomin scene as a placemat but am using it as a wall hanging instead.

For fans of the Moomins of any age, these are the perfect placemats. Brings me a smile every time I sit down to eat.
Fun and practical

This fancifully illustrated piece could be a centerpiece for a table, too.
Affordable and utilitarian art -- a great combination

I ordered 4 of these (with different scenes) because our kids love the Moomin books. The placemats were a big hit.
Easy to clean

I love this placemat; it looks so cute with all the other varieties of moomin placemats.

These placemats are cute, but severely overpriced. Low quality.

I was very disappointed that the images were simple color photocopies covered with cheap plastic, like a poor quality identification tag. I would never purchase an item like this, again.
Not a single good quality.
An embarrassingly cheap product.
Good price and good service

I was very pleased with my purchase. The store has a great selection of Moomin related products, it's easy to browse and it delivers exactly what promised. The mat was delivered promptly and in excellent condition. My daughter plans to use it as a picture-finding a poster with the same scene was impossible. The quality of the mat makes it an easy play and we are looking forward to see it framed on the wall.
