The Marimekko Weather Diary Dessert Bowl is the perfect size for satisfying any sweet tooth, but it will also act as eye candy. The pretty pattern is part of the Sääpäiväkirja (Weather Diary) collection, which depicts the weather changes of the Finnish archipelago. Soft shades of sherbet pink, pale yellow and bold black are beautifully blended like watercolors and tell the story of a setting sky atop a lush landscape. The quality porcelain is microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer safe, so this petite beauty can be conveniently enjoyed daily.
Care: Microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer safe

The pink is about half the intensity than pictured and the yellow on the other side is barely yellow. The bowl is still beautiful, but the colors are quite a bit lighter than pictured. (FYI, the dinner plate in the Weather series is truthfully depicted, as is the lunch plate. If anything, they are a touch darker in real life. The green mug on the other hand, is all different shades of green, no blue shades as is sometimes depicted on the other side. Very beautiful still all.)

Great little bowl
I added this one to the two others I already have. They are great for small snacks.

Oven, dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe
These dessert bowls are excellent. I also plan to use them as ramekins for various oven-to-table confections. The design is gorgeous, unusual and compelling.
ProsI love the smaller size -- perfect for desserts.

i love Weather Diary dinnerware
i really enjoy the mix and match of the Weather Diary line - each piece differnet, yet co-ordinating. the depiction of weather does speak to me of the weather in my own area. abstract and whimsy. very nice.
Proshandy small bowl stays on my counter for many little purposes. pretty
