Like another reviewer, I also received this as a free gift and at first was not sure about the size, since all of my other Unikko mugs are large. Surprise though - this mug has turned out to be much better for me (with arthritis in my fingers). It holds an entire cup of coffee and is just the right weight and shape. I now have rearranged my cabinet and ordered 5 more!

This was a gift with purchase. The mug is a coffee cup size, which means it is rather small. If you really want an ordinary white mug printed with A Marimekko design, spent the extra money to buy the large version.

I have several Unikko mugs in my collection so am giving this as a gift.
Pros
Beautiful color on my favorite Marimekko Unikko pattern.
Works well in microwave for quick drink warm up.
Washes well in dishwasher with no loss of color.

Buyer Beware - Children’s size “mug”

I received this “mug” last week as a free “thank you gift” with my order. I’ve received thank you gifts before from Finn Style and always been pleasantly surprised. Not this time. It’s a small size, and a useless size in this tea drinker/hot cocoa drinker’s opinion. Interestingly, Finnstyle also sells this mug in a “large” size. Too bad they don’t label this one “small” so shoppers are forewarned. Obviously, I didn’t make my purchase in order to get a free gift, but I was excited when the mug magically appeared in my shopping cart when I hit the spending threshold, because I love displaying colorful mugs — plus I was curious to see if the marimekko mugs were worth their high price. Well, the answer is NO - not at this size - and I’d be totally embarrassed to give as gift also.
