About Percale: A high-quality weave, percale has a noticeably tighter weave that allows for a higher thread count which makes the sheets softer to the touch. Medium in weight, the fabric is matte with no additional sheen or shine but the texture is very smooth and able to resist warping and washes exceptionally well.

I have owned Marimekko bedding for over 15 years. My parents have also used Marimekko bedding since I was little. I've had 4 sets and the only reason I have bought 4 was because I wanted a different pattern. They are still in a great condition. They last a really long time. Colors don't fade. I wash my sheets every week and they wash great- come out of the washer/dryer so soft and looking new every time.
The pattern is definitely awesome. It makes my bedroom so pretty and brings good mood when I look at it :)
However, I'm a little bit disappointed at the quality. I can tell it's 100% cotton, but the thread count is very low. It feels very rough and itchy to bare skin. And stitching is very rough. I would say the quality of this bedding set is way lower than Marimekko clothings.
In addition, the size specified on the product page is 106" L x 96" W (269 x 244 cm), but it's actually 102" L x 96" W (259 x 244 cm), which is written on the product package.
As expected from Marimekko, colors, quality is absolutely amazing.

what an incredible piece of "art" for the bedroom !!! it brightens up my day every time i see it. got the matching square pillows and items for the kitchen in the same pattern. JUST LOVE!!!
I am very familiar with this Merimekko pattern and decided it was time to have it. As per my usual, I washing it immediately. Taking it from the dryer immediately, it came out mostly unwrinkled. The shams did not. I needed to iron them.

The product is perfect - great quality fabric. Fits an New Zealand super king bed perfectly. Look fabulous in my room I am very happy thanks for sending internationally as I could not get this size in New Zealand.
