A bustling bouquet of flowers fill the surface of Marimekko’s Unikko Mini Tray to add a fun floral print to your home or office. The original Unikko design was created by the brilliant textile designer Maija Isola in the 1960’s. Are they hand wash only? I.e. never put in dishwasher? I’ve owned several of these for a few years now. They look just like new and they’re so fun to use. I’ve just assumed that I shouldn’t put them into the dishwasher! Just curious what you have to say ; thanks!

Hello,
That is correct - they are not dishwasher safe. You should wash them by hand and dry immediately with a cloth. Do not soak in the sink.

Hi there
What is the fabric coated with? Some kind of resin? Is it a waterproof surface?
1 Answer
It has a resin coating on the tray. It is water resistant, not proof. For washing, do not submerge and soak in water.
