The ribbed fabric is not stretchy, so I'm not worried about the bag deforming when filling it up and using it. The knit has structure, but it remains pliable (not boxy) against the body. Many fixed-length cross body bags are too long for my petite frame, but I can make this one work (it falls at my hip). Capacity-wise, I can fit a small wallet, iPhone 16, keys, and either sunglasses or a small cosmetics pouch (but not both). It's a cute and handy bag for when I don't feel like using a leather bag or a larger tote. Note about the pattern: the photo shows the Unikko poppy centered on the bag with the embroidered "Marimekko" on the front. The bag I received has the poppies scattered randomly. This does not matter to me (I actually prefer the randomness), but it worth noting if you're reading this and strongly prefer the centered single poppy placement and are expecting that result on your bag.
