Inspired by Eastern European embroidery, the Svaale pattern is the perfect way to bring a folkloric feel to your kitchen. Sanna Annukka's modern design pops in shades of navy, green, and gold on a grey backdrop. Look closely and you may find a fox and bird hiding in geometric, botanical print. The 100% heavyweight cotton is coated in acrylic, making it perfect for places prone to messes like the dining table; why not use it to craft a custom tablecloth or placemats?

The acrylic coating has a very rough hand, and makes the cloth seem thinner than the PVC coated options. In future, will probably not order the acrylic coated fabric without seeing it in person first since yard goods cannot be returned.
