A contemporary take on traditional floral prints, the Marimekko Siirtolapuutarha Red Duvet Set features flowers bloomed from designer Maija Louekari's imagination. She was inspired by the merging of natural and urban life and named Siirtopuutarha (Allotment) after city gardens. Balance its colorful chaos with the clean-cut Ajo Pink Sheet Set for an unexpected extension of this daring design. The duvet slips over your current comforter and buttons closed while the included shams have an envelope opening to insert your pillows. Made from 100% cotton percale, this soft set won't irritate your skin and is conveniently machine washable, making it as livable as it is lively.
Twin set includes: 1 duvet cover & 1 standard sham Full/Queen set includes: 1 duvet cover & 2 standard shams King set includes: 1 duvet cover & 2 king shamsAbout Percale:

This even impressed my daughter. I have a redwood interior, and all Merimekko looks great....but this one....WOW. I have it in the master bedroom, and am putting it in the guest room as well. I really don't like the pattern in other colors, but in red it dances like Gene Kelly.
Makes me happy every morning I wake up.
The duvet ties keep slipping off. They could easily be longer so I could secure them better. But no real complaints. It is just incomparably happy a pattern.
