I was hoping this would have a zipper pocket on the inside. I have several Marimekko purses and none of them have a zipper pocket on the inside. This would be a great feature to add to all purses. The size is a little bigger than I wanted but overall good size for daily use and travel.

I bought this gift for my better half this Xmas. I always noticed that she either had the fancy evening gala kind of hand bags, or the totally functional yet ugly ones for day to day use. Going on vacation was always a challenge because she was never sure what kind of bag to bring. Enter this Marimekko bag - it's so functional and tough for daily use, yet has the class and elegance for a fancy night out in town.

I don't know if it's a con but like most Marimekko products, this is overpriced. At first, she loved it when I gave her the bag. But later, had a mini heart attack when I told her how much it cost (and this was the discounted price!)

My daughter has worn my old black Marimekko shoulder bag to threads. At 25 years old she would not settle for anything else. I searched and could not find that old style bag anywhere. This Salli bag comes the closest, with similar size and function, the magnetic button closure being a must. My daughter loves it!

This bag goes everywhere and gets lots if compliments, especially from marimekko cognoscenti. Very lightweight, it looks and feels like a small bag but can hold a lot! Please bring it back. Maybe in some other colors too??

Take this bag to the theater, when you travel or use it daily for errands. The Black Unikko pattern goes with most outfits. The design is stylish, yet practical. It expands on the width, and doesn’t look bulky. It fits an iPad securely in addition to these items: phone, wallet, makeup bag, water bottle, eyeglass case, pocketbook..with some room to spare.
