Finnish for "rag rug", Maija Louekari's Räsymatto pattern captures the texture of a loom-woven rug and transforms it into a graphic print of yellow, grey, and black on a white backdrop. Printed in Finland on 100% cotton coated in acrylic, it's great for tablecloths, placemats, or even a parka!

Please note: This fabric is coated in acrylic, not PVC as Marimekko fabric previously was. Although it is less shiny and smooth than the PVC fabrics, acrylic coated cotton fabric has even greater benefits. A safe and eco-friendly alternative, acrylic-coating has better stain repellent qualities than PVC, is machine-washable, and is foldable without leaving marks on the fabric.
This Marimekko fabric is sold by the yard. Enter desired quantity in the Yards box. If you order multiple yards, they will remain intact.

Sharp looking tablecloth!

I picked this table cloth because I like the coated cotton. Due to my hurry while ordering I ordered 1 yards vs 3 yards. When they say, chose wisely the number of yards that would be a good idea! I love my 1 yard though and it'll be a table runner. I like the tablecloths easy clean up as well.
PVC is not recommended for furniture items, including chairs and benches, as the fabric does not stretch well and will wear with use. It may get torn from pant buttons, etc. This is not the intended use of this type of fabric.

PVC-coated fabrics
100% cotton PVC- coated
The easy-care PVC-coated fabrics are intended for indoor use. As we want our products to be as environmentally safe as possible, we have started to use only wax chemicals soluble in water. Please, remember to wipe off strong-colored stains (such as carrot, tomato, berries, ink, sauces) immediately to prevent the stain from adhering to the porous coating. If the reverse side of the fabric becomes soiled, we recommend machine wash (Hot). Avoid using fast spin cycle. Do not soak, because printed colors may bleed. Please, remember that continuous machine-wash weakens the waxing, as water-soluble wax dissolves somewhat in washing. The fabric can be steam ironed on the reverse side.
