Bought my first bag like this in Stockholm's Marimekko store in 1971 - loved it then as it held my essentials along with the large tote to match, as I traveled the world! The new version is even better with the top zip and several more inside and outside!! Tack Marimekko - back in the saddle again with my Marimekko saddle bag!!!

I've been buying this bag since the early 1980s. The new ones have added zippers and more compartments, which is a big improvement. The bags last for years. Sturdy and roomy.

This is my second messenger bag; my first lasted for several years of daily wear in all sorts of weather. I find them to be comfortable to wear both over the shoulder and cross-body, and easy to adjust back and forth. These are very reliable bags.

Love the wide strap! Stays on my shoulder! While I miss the size of the original "book bag" , the fact that there is a zippered closure is very handy when traveling! My IPad fits inside comfortably!
