This roomy bag was designed with the sauna in mind, as it's perfect for toting and storing towels, pillows, toiletries, whisks and more. This makes it just as suited to picnics, beach days, library visits, weekend camping trips, or any occasion that calls for a bundle to bring. Made from washed, 100% organic cotton, the bag is soft yet sturdy with thick shoulder straps. It also has two ties at the opening to further secure items and condense the shape for comfortable carrying. The black and white threads are woven into Marja Rautiainen's Koivu (Birch) pattern, which creates grey tones and texture to further capture the beauty of bark. This pattern extends into the interior in a reverse colorway. As the national tree of Finland, Silver birches hold great significance and meaning to Finns and any lover of nature.
Care: Machine washable. Follow instructions on tag.

The print is bold and beautiful. It's a nicely finished bag with sturdy handles. The only caveat I have is that for an oversized bag it is very soft, and I would worry that loading it up with heavy items like books might tear or wear through the lovely woven fabric.
A lining would give it a little more stability and make it a five star item for me.
Still gorgeous, and good for soft carry items, like my knitting!
I had admired this bag (in the large size) for some time, but having only seen it online and never held it in my hands in a store, I had hesitated to make a purchase. (From web photos, the exact sizing and fabric texture were not obvious.) The birch pattern is of course stunning, and the bag is beautifully made of a sturdy yet malleable cotton. The size is perfect. I am very pleased with this purchase!
