These bowls are pretty, sturdy and a great size for desserts. I bought four, and as soon as I saw them in person, I bought four more.

These are absolutely perfect for ice cream and berries!

These bowls look lovely with sorbet or mixed fruit. I like that they are shorter - not only does that make for a nice presentation, but since they are smaller than American dessert bowls, a proper portion size looks more full in these.

I've also used these for vegetable relishes or small salads, such as tomato basil and cucumber dill salads, and they work very well for individual servings.
