The special edition Toikka Amethyst bird has flown in for iittala's 140th anniversary. Limited to 2021 and numbered, it's as rare as it is radiant. It wears one of iittala's rarest colors, which has more blue undertones in some lights and is a vivid violet in others. The anniversary bird is patterned with iridescent spots and has a matching mirror finish on the head. This limited edition bird comes in a special anniversary packaging in a matching purple hue, making it an excellent gift for Toikka fans this season. Like all Toikka birds, it is handcrafted in Finland by iittala's team of talented glass blowers.

This bird is absolutely beautiful! It can look totally different sitting in the sunshine or in an area without sun. It is like having two different beauty's to admire :) Packaging was perfect also and top it off ...it came in 2 days!

Pictures do not show the vivid colors in daylight on this lovely bird. I was finally able to buy her due to a sale plus I had my birthday discount. Worthwhile investment.
