Inspiration for the iittala Nappula Kyoto Red Short Candle Holder came to designer Matti Klenell at the Nuutarjärvi glass museum, where he was drawn to the distinctive design of an interestingly shaped chair. Moved by the unique piece of furniture, Klenell set out to create memorable pieces of his own. This is the shorter of the two candle holders in the Nappula collection, allowing it to hold even a tall candle and still serve as a centerpiece that won't obstruct your view. The sturdy powder coated steel has an attractive matte finish, and a felt bottom rest further stabilizes the piece. Fire is an element that has long brought us comfort, warmth and ambiance, and the iittala iittala Nappula Kyoto Red Short Candle Holder makes it that much more beautiful.
Holds most standard candles with a 3/4" diameter base.
