I love the mysterious moody color. Equal parts blue and gray, like a rainy day. The glass is thinner than I imagined based on past experience with raised dot patterns like this. I thought it would be a heavy hobnail-type of glassware but it's actually of medium thickness. Look at it long enough and you realize that the base is not flat. Instead, the glass rests upon individual "raindrops" that encircle the base.

I LOVE these beautiful glasses! I just purchased them in rain and the color and quality are outstanding! We needed some short juice glasses and these are perfect. I love the texture in the design and the size as well. I have been a big iitala fan for many years and the products never disappoint! Everything they make turns the ordinary into the exquisite!
