When I saw that this color was called desert, I expected it to be more orange. I got the most pleasant surprise when I put a small votive candle in and it glowed GOLD!!! A most beautiful gold! It goes with my Christmas decor with the other red and green kastehelmi votives I have. I’m so thrilled about this color! I had no idea. This color is so beautiful for all year round. I got these on sale which I can’t fathom why they would be...I think it’s because people have the wrong idea about the actual color!
