The Carambola Vase joins the iittala collection as the latest stunning design for utility by Heikki Orvola. Inspired by carambola, or starfruit, the bursting shape is both exotic and elegant in pure white bone china. The vase is subtly translucent and a glossy finish on the entire surface allows it to subtly play with light and shadow.

This china vase is delicately beautiful. The multipointed star shape is gorgeous on its own and doesn't need to be filled with flowers. It's actually a piece of sculpture. I'm extremely glad I bought it.
