Legs of solid birch with a birch honeycomb core tabletop for the 90C are of the highest natural quality. Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935, these contemporary circular tables have bent wood legs in Aalto's famous "L" shape or optional HL1-leg with metal bracket. Created by bending birch laminates at a 90-degree angle, the "L" legs are attached directly to the underside of the table. This technique creates an extremely sturdy but lightweight support system that requires no additional framework. Aalto considered the L-leg his most important furniture innovation. Made in Finland by Artek. Simple assembly required.
