This green mug features The Constable, also known as the police inspector. Moomin-founder Tove Jansson created the original illustration, which appears in the second Moomin comic books. It was then interpreted by Tove Slotte, who beautifully took the classic from paper to porcelain.

As always, the Moomin mugs are crafted from porcelain and are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. The new mugs have special details, like an identifying stamp on the bottom and attached gift tag with a sweet story about the design.

This one reads: "The Constable supervises Moominvalley and its residents. Moominvalley is a calm and safe place, so he has very little to do. Most of his time is pent chasing michielf-maker Stinky, whom he always manages to catch."
