Long have I desired this bowl
I'm not sure how a computer-printed bowl made in Thailand can be worth $100, but I've wanted it a long time. Finally bought it on sale with Christmas money. Love it's substantialness and the blue Taika motif.

My favorite color in the Taika collection
Last X-mas I bought two of these as gifts to family members and they were absulutely delighted. They were more expensive at a Finnish store in Seattle. When I saw them on sale at Finnstyle I immediately ordered one blue and one white for myself.
ProsThe pattern, the sturdiness and the creative pattern. What is there not to like about the Taika line.
FinnStyle delivers with exceptional service and speed.

The White and Blue Taika Table Setting
we fell in love with the Taika pattern the moment we first saw it...the owl reminded us of our favorite owl at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. We enjoyed seeing it used for the Finnish Christmas table setting at the Swedish Institute (Turnblad mansion). it is the perfect setting for a breakfast of Swedish pancakes.

Stunning on the Table
All of the taika line is beautiful, but the large serving bowl is just so impressive. I gave the black and white one as a gift and the recipient was thrilled. Then i received the dark blue one as a gift and I was just as thrilled. It mixes well with my other cobalt pieces and is a wonderful entertaining size--not too big or too small.
