The young designers at Finland’s SECCO are giving a new purpose to waste and left-over materials by transforming them into funky high quality design products— from designer bags and chic containers made of tire inner tubes to sleek bowls made from stainless steel washing machine tubs.
At the core of all SECCO designs is the philosophy that they must consist of four main characteristics; they must be innovative, timeless, eco-friendly, and inspirational.
SECCO products are unique in that they are discovered and born through what materials are available. Rather than creating a product and finding materials, the designers at SECCO find materials and create a product.
