  iittala Toikka Ruffed GrouseThis limited-edition bird by Oiva Toikka boasts a finish unique even among other Toikka birds. Its round brown body is flecked with spots of pearly white and metallic blue, which give the surface a rich texture, like plumage. The Ruffed Grouse also features a reflective brown beak and a small raised plume on his head.
The Ruffed Grouse is hand-numbered and was designed specifically for the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington.
Your limited-edition Ruffed Grouse is an individually made, mouth-blown piece of art handcrafted by the master glassblowers at iittala’s famous glassworks in Nuutajärvi, Finland. Each Ruffed Grouse is hand-etched and number “O Toikka Nuutajärvi, xxx/750” at its base.
