Oiva Toikka’s New York Bluebird has a strong personality, with a head that turns slightly to the left in curious wonderment.
This glass bird's colors are brilliant. It has a bright, orange chest which scatters into white at the bottom, and its wings are a subtle, mottled blue on an opaque body. The Bluebird has a rich blue hue just below its wings.
Measures: 5-1/2" L x 3" H (14 x 7.5 cm)
On the bottom of the bird, is hand-etched the name of the artist, Oiva Toikka, and of his studio in Nuutajärvi, Finland. Your bird is uniquely numbered by edition xxx/1250. |
