A designer of utility objects, sets for theatre, ballet and opera as well as printed fabrics is perhaps best known for his collectible artglass series Birds by Toikka. The colorful and playful birds, fine examples of skilled glassblowing, are desired by collectors around the world. Each bird is unique and created by hand at iittala’s glassworks in Nuutajärvi, Finland.
