About Percale:
A high-quality weave, percale has a noticeably tighter weave that allows for a higher thread count which makes the sheets softer to the touch. Medium in weight, the fabric is matte with no additional sheen or shine but the texture is very smooth and able to resist warping and washes exceptionally well.

Nice Duvet Set

I already have one of these duvet covers, and it looks fantastic after 5+ years. When I needed to get another cover for a new house, I saw that it was on sale, and was thrilled to have another one for the new bed! The cover has a soothing look perfect for a bedroom and is a nice neutral to highlight other color accents. While I love all the Merimikko patterns, this one is a little less loud, a little more mature and more sophisticated than many with bold patterns and colors--great for a soothing, tranquil look in the bedroom. Happy to have two beds with this cover! The quality is great, especially at this price point.

Beautiful and Soft

Marimekko is my go-to brand in fabrics and bedding. This set was equally perfect. The fabric is luxuriously soft (hard to get out out bed ;)!) and the design unique and eye-pleasing.

My experience with Marimekko has always been positive. The colors don't fade and fabric doesn't thin out or tear. I always wash in cold temperature and use a low heat setting when drying.

This is a great set. It is a neutral color palette that goes with any bedroom decor, yet is visually interesting without being too loud and busy as some of the other vibrantly patterned Marimekko bedding sets (which I think are too overwhelming for king size beds but can be fun for smaller sized beds). The quality of the fabric is great, and it does not wrinkle very much after washing/drying.

The quality of Merimeko bedding is very, very good, and the colors are true to the online photos. This is probably my fifth or sixth order from Finnstyle. All four of my bedrooms are now outfitted with Merimeko bedding. I've purchased towels as well, they were high quality. Great colors that didn't fade.

This Duvet is great looking and feels wonderful. I bought it in king size for a new platform bed and couldn't be happier. It is black, blue, and white. I thought I saw a little grey in there but there isn't any. I ended up happier than I expected. I love Marimekko bedding, good quality, and in designs you really cannot find at too many locations. I don't buy domestics very often. I was bored and tired with the same old stuff I had been using for way too long. These sheets and pillow cases along with the matching duvet cover were the ticket to spruce up a tired bedroom. The all cotton sheets wash well and are very soft. They also have nice deep pockets to fit my oversized king mattress. If you love blue as much as I do, just buy them.

Thoroughly enjoy the 4 sets of percale Marimekko sheets I've indulged in over the past 2 years - each a different design (and all on sale ... my Finnish father would have approved!) The 5th set, Jurmo, is my absolute favorite ... the rich, smooth texture combined with the comforting blue and white pattern (my Finnish mother's favorite colors).
