The cake server is very handsome, but had troubles with cake. Pros:
The cake server is a nice concept and looks very handsome. It limits the size of the pieces cut, so might be ideal for someone on a diet. However, it doesn't work very well at what it is designed to do.Cons:
It doesn't cut cake! Perhaps it would work better for something like pumpkin pie where the filling is firm. Though I haven't tried it, it seems likely to have trouble with a fruit pie that requires support for a bottom crust or has a filling that might ooze.Merchant Response:
The size of a piece has been measured according to regular serving sizes in Europe, where it is customary to take second servings of cake. US customers may find this a bit smaller than they are accustomed to, but it's a great opportunity to use the server to cut another piece!The cake server is not best for fruit pies. I was looking for a cake server for a long time, but all I saw was "old school" ones. While nothing is wrong with old school things, I wanted something contemporary. Magisso Cake Server represents my dreams incarnated.If only everything in life would be as perfect as this cake server... :-)

Sometimes design rule over functionality, but not in the case of the Magisso Cake Server. It is a thing of beauty and practical all the way.Finnstyle customer service is faultless once again (Thanks Ben!).
Pros:
Simple lines. Slices well and allows easy grip on the sliced cake. Best of all, gives a nice unconventional slightly curved shape to each piece of cake that is sliced.Cons:
Nothing to dislike but could not use it to cut my wedding cake!I would recommend this item to a friend.
