Kalevala Silver Dream Pendant

This inspirational pendant by Kalevala celebrates the centennial of universal suffrage in Finland. One hundred years ago, on June 1st, 1906, the Finnish parliament accepted a new election act that allowed all people to vote. In honor of this noteworthy event, Kirsti Doukas created the Dream pendant for Kalevala. The pendant features and intricate radiating pattern in the strong shape of a fan, thereby communicating a message of subtle yet irrepressible power. A single jewel, in either smokey quartz, green quartz or blue topaz, captures light and gives this pendant an impressive beauty.
