The bowls are made of cut sheet glass, which is then melted and shaped to give the illusion of woven glass. The effect is truly unique. Perfect as table centerpieces or for holding light weight items, like fruit or candy, these bowls are sure to capture the admiration of all who see them.
Marja Leena Alavainio, has been creating glass trays and decorations for eight years in her native Finland. She works at home in her basement studio where she also has a small store.
