Finnish HymnsA unique and interesting recording.
Finland is the final outpost of Protestant northern Europe and, in common with Protestant countries in general, it has a rich tradition of hymns and congregational singing.
Most of these hymns come from the late 19th and early 20th century, but some span the centuries. Though all will be known to those of Finnish heritage, many are borrowed from Luther or American Revival hymns, thus known around the world.
