To compliment Vigna’s large Circoli collection, this version was created as a smaller, but nonetheless equally stunning bird. In contrast to the larger bird which features interwoven white and clear glass, this creation offers white and black glass on the interior to contrast with the solid black exterior. This contemporary art form would be a stunning addition to any glass bird collection, or as a stand alone accent.
Each Vigna Bird is individually handcrafted by master glassblowers at iittala’s renowned glassworks in Nuutajärvi, Finland. The time-intensive process of forming, cutting, and polishing each bird showcases the skill of these craftsmen.
