Distinctively Scandinavian, the Charles mug has the retro look and feel of old Finnish handicrafts. Designed by Maija Isola in 1972, the pattern displays a scene of a roosting hen surrounded by cartoonish flowers. This print was made toward the end of Isola’s career and bears the distinctive lively style of that period.
