Like her mate, Oiva Toikka's Female Wood Grouse is adorned with a colorful scallop pattern. Green is her predominant body color with blue, white and light green among her other colors. Her transparent wings are golden brown and her beak is a translucent yellow-gold color.

Measures: 6" H x 10" L (15.2 x 25.4 cm)

On the base of each individualized bird is acid-stamped the signature of the artist and of his studio in Nuutajärvi, Finland.
