Designed as a part of Marimekko newcomer Ville Silvennoinen's thesis work, Maja explores different ways of making unique printed fabric from a designer's point of view. The Marimekko Maja Throw Pillow features gold/ochre lines that stretch out across a blue/green background, taking inspiration from tree branches scraping the skyline. Printed on 100% cotton and hugging a Hypo-allergenic polyester filled pillow, this vivid print easily fits in the nooks and crannies of couches and loveseats, entryways and offices.

The fabric of these pillows is so striking, looks fabulous against our dark-gray-charcoal sofa, and a great deal when on sale. Especially nice that the foam inserts were included, as many other places make you buy them separately.
